About 10K Happy Korea

10K Happy Korea is a regional value-living media built around one rule: everything fits inside a single ₩10,000 note (about $7).

What we do

We cover South Korea's 17 cities and provinces plus 25 major cities, finding meals, dates, cafés, hobbies and shopping spots that cost under ₩9,500 per person. If a place doesn't disclose its prices, we don't list it.

How it's made

• New entries published every Friday 01:00 KST
• Every venue is verified against Naver Maps to confirm it actually exists
• TV-featured restaurants require ≥3 independent blog references before inclusion
• Monthly health check on the 15th removes closed or relocated venues automatically

Regional scope

8 metropolitan cities (Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Ulsan, Sejong), 9 provinces (Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Jeju), and 25 major cities. Cheongju and Daejeon include hand-written entries from the editor.
